Silica Gel's Kim Han-joo Announces Marriage with Star-Studded Congratulations

Kim Han-joo, a member of the band 'Silica Gel,' has announced his marriage, drawing attention with congratulatory messages from his impressive network in the entertainment industry.

On the 24th, Kim Han-joo shared several photos on his social media. The photos feature Kim and his partner in matching white outfits, capturing their wedding photoshoot against a mudflat backdrop. According to industry sources, the couple has been together for 15 years.

Following Kim's announcement, RM of BTS left a congratulatory comment. RM is known to be friends with the members of Silica Gel. Notably, Kim Han-joo contributed to the composition of RM's solo album 'Right Place, Wrong Person' (2024) title track 'LOST!'.

In addition to RM, artists such as Dawn, So Soo-bin, Park Moon-chi, Abyss and San Yawn of Balming Tiger, Han Kyung-rok of Crying Nut, Park Han-sol of The Solutions, and actors Shim Eun-kyung and Lee Jong-won also extended their congratulations. Members of Silica Gel also celebrated the news. Kim Han-joo becomes the second married member of the band, following Kim Geon-jae.

Silica Gel debuted in 2015 with the EP 'The Five Perspectives of a Weightless Deer.' Known for their unique musical style, they have garnered a dedicated fanbase both domestically and internationally. This year, they are set to perform at the KSPO Dome.
