Korean Actress Hwang Bo-ra Reveals $3,000 Cleaning Bill Experience

Korean actress Hwang Bo-ra recently opened up about her hefty cleaning expenses.

On the YouTube channel 'Hwang Bo-ra Variety', a video titled '40 Years Traded for 4 Million Won... Save Rookie Mom Hwang Bo-ra' was uploaded on the 24th.

In the video, Hwang Bo-ra embarked on a massive cleaning spree, tackling everything from the bathroom to the kitchen amidst her hectic daily life. Although she usually receives cleaning help from her parents, she decided to take on the task herself, stating, "Sometimes you just need a mother's touch for those corners."

Despite purchasing a variety of cleaning supplies, Hwang Bo-ra shared her frugal cleaning tip: "I change my dish sponge once a month, but instead of throwing it away, I use it for bathroom cleaning," highlighting it as her 'all-in-one bathroom item.'

Hwang Bo-ra also recounted her experience of hiring a professional cleaning service before her son Woo-in was born. "It cost a lot back then. I regret it. The cleaning alone cost 4 million won (approximately $3,000). They cleaned everything from the windows to the air conditioner, and I realized I should just do it myself," she candidly admitted.

As she began cleaning the bathroom, she jokingly scolded the staff, "Are you really filming someone else's toilet like this?" She also expressed her frustration, "I take bathroom cleanliness seriously, but my husband doesn't clean the bathroom at all."

Cleaning with just a sponge, Hwang Bo-ra humorously revealed, "I rarely buy things, but my husband keeps buying stuff. He lives for shopping, even if he doesn't use it. He buys everything that comes out."

When a staff member worried about someone using the sponge left on the shower shelf, Hwang Bo-ra joked, "I hope my husband washes his face with it," showing a mix of affection and exasperation. She continued, "Look at his shaving residue. How can I not get upset? He even dyes his hair at home," causing laughter.

Finally, as she thoroughly cleaned the toilet, Hwang Bo-ra confessed, "Cleaning the toilet was disgusting at first." The staff's reaction during the drain cleaning had everyone in stitches.

Meanwhile, actress Hwang Bo-ra married Cha Hyun-woo (real name Kim Young-hoon), the CEO of Workhouse Company and the son of actor Kim Yong-gun and brother of Ha Jung-woo, in November 2022. They have a son named Woo-in.
