IU Brings Laughter on Set of '21st Century Grand Duchess' with Her Playful Antics

Singer and actress IU brought laughter on the set of her drama with her playful antics.

On the 14th, the YouTube channel '이지금' released a behind-the-scenes video of the MBC Friday-Saturday drama '21st Century Grand Duchess'.

The video captures IU on the set of her current project. In the drama, IU plays the role of Seong Hee-joo, a determined character who will stop at nothing to achieve her goals. In the video, IU is seen filming a scene where she sits with her bare feet on a desk, leaning back while on a call. She delivers the line, "Is it really that hard to find someone with my level of ability, wealth, and beauty?" perfectly capturing her character's personality.

After finishing the scene, IU returned to her usual self and greeted the crew. She commented on her posture with her feet on the desk, saying, "This posture is so disrespectful, isn't it? I'm sorry." She added, "You shouldn't see IU on TV with her feet on a desk, but please understand, it's Hee-joo."

IU also shared her personal thoughts on the character. She summarized Seong Hee-joo's personality with the words "Tsk, Ha, Oh?" and remarked, "Her personality is really chaotic. It was tough at first, but as I continued acting, it became surprisingly fun."
