Comedian Nam Chang-hee Joins the Ranks of Married Men with Shilla Hotel Wedding
Comedian Nam Chang-hee is set to join the ranks of married men.

Nam Chang-hee will tie the knot at 6 PM on the 22nd at the Dynasty Hall of the Shilla Hotel in Jangchung-dong, Seoul. The ceremony will be a private affair, attended by family, relatives, and close friends. The bride is a non-celebrity, nine years younger than Nam.

The Shilla Hotel's Dynasty Hall, where Nam Chang-hee will exchange vows, is the same venue where actors Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-a recently held their wedding. Other top stars such as Jun Ji-hyun, Jang Dong-gun and Ko So-young, Yoo Jae-suk and Na Kyung-eun, and Kwon Sang-woo and Son Tae-young have also celebrated their nuptials at the Shilla Hotel. The cost of a wedding at this hotel varies depending on options like floral arrangements, but it is generally known to start from at least 100 million to 200 million KRW.

The wedding will be officiated by Jo Se-ho, who has been friends with Nam Chang-hee for over 20 years since their early days in the industry. Jo Se-ho took a break from activities last December due to rumors of involvement with organized crime.

On the radio show 'Yoon Jung-soo and Nam Chang-hee's Mr. Radio,' which he hosts, Nam Chang-hee announced on the 2nd, "We have promised to walk the path of life together as one. I will grow as the head of a family."

Nam Chang-hee publicly acknowledged his relationship with his non-celebrity partner in July 2024. At that time, he did not hide his romance, introducing his girlfriend to celebrity friends like Jo Se-ho and Hong Jin-kyung.
