Kim Go-eun Reflects on Bond with Jeon Do-yeon and Career Growth
On the YouTube channel 'BDNS', a video titled 'Waiting for Stir-fried Pork with Kim Go-eun' was released on the 29th.
In the video, Kim Go-eun discussed her reunion with Jeon Do-yeon in the Netflix series 'The Price of Confession', marking their first collaboration in a decade since the film 'Memories of the Sword'. Kim noted, "We've met quite a few times in between, so it didn't feel like a long time."
Reflecting on her early career during 'Memories of the Sword', Kim Go-eun shared, "I was busy trying to embody my character as a rookie. Jeon Do-yeon took care of me from behind the scenes. If I struggled with a scene, she would call the director and ask them to ensure I wasn't overworked, emphasizing my importance as a lead."
Reuniting with Jeon Do-yeon after so long, Kim felt a sense of security, saying, "It felt like she acknowledged my growth. I wanted to take care of her more this time."
Now in her 14th year since debuting, Kim Go-eun reflected, "Being in my 30s, time seems to fly by. I still feel like I'm around 22."
She added, "I used to hear seniors say it's hard to interact with juniors, and I didn't believe it. I thought, 'How could seniors be conscious of juniors?' But now I understand."
Kim Go-eun stars in the upcoming Netflix series 'The Price of Confession', a mystery thriller about Yoon-su, a suspect in her husband's murder, and Mo-eun, a mysterious figure known as a witch. The series is set to premiere on December 5th.
