Belgian Designer Claims BLACKPINK's Jisoo Hasn't Returned Costly Outfits
Belgian fashion brand JUDASIM's designer, Benjamin Bortmans, has alleged that BLACKPINK member Jisoo has not returned outfits sent for an album cover shoot.

Bortmans recently took to social media, posting a video claiming that some of the outfits sent to Korea for the shoot have not been returned for an extended period. The post tagged Jisoo's account, stating, "Give me back my stuff." Bortmans accused, "Jisoo stole my stuff," adding, "It's been six months since I sent various items to him and his Korean team for the album cover work."

According to Bortmans, the team has been postponing the schedule for six months. He stated, "Six months ago, they kept delaying the work date, saying they didn't know what was happening. I said, 'Okay, just postpone it. But let me know when the items are returned.' To this day, no one has responded."

The items Bortmans claims have not been returned are three key pieces from his last collection, known to be high-priced. He said, "These are very important pieces from the last collection, and they were quite expensive. So I sent invoices and contracts for legal action, but no one replied," adding, "I just want someone to come to their senses and return my stuff. I don't even want to shoot anymore. Just return the items. I don't care if she uses them for the album cover or not."

Bortmans later clarified in an additional video that he did not intend to attack Jisoo personally. He explained, "I want to clarify everything about Jisoo's situation. I never actually attacked Jisoo," adding, "I used Jisoo's name to get a response from anyone on the team. Her name was in the emails related to the shoot." He also requested an end to online criticism, emphasizing that he only wants the outfits returned.

However, he did not retract the issue itself. Bortmans stated, "As a young designer, we invest a lot of time in our work," adding, "Not receiving a response or respect for six months is terrible. I won't apologize. The entire team should treat people better next time and inform them if there are issues."

Currently, Jisoo and her agency have not issued a separate statement regarding the controversy.
