Poppin Hyun Joon Enjoys Private Movie Screening in His Personal Theater

Dancer and performance artist Poppin Hyun Joon recently shared a unique movie-watching experience.

On the 5th, Poppin Hyun Joon posted several photos on his Instagram with the caption, "Eating outside food and putting my feet up on the seat in front at the theater, lol."

The photos show Poppin Hyun Joon comfortably reclining in a theater seat, enjoying snacks with his feet up on the seat in front.

While such behavior might spark controversy in a regular theater, the location was confirmed to be his private theater, situated in the basement of his building in Seongsu-dong.

Poppin Hyun Joon purchased a standalone house in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, in 2016 and rebuilt it into a four-story building in 2020. The building includes a practice room, a studio, and a personal movie theater.

In addition to this property, Poppin Hyun Joon is known to own six real estate properties and several luxury supercars.

Born in 1979, Poppin Hyun Joon is 47 years old. He married Park Ae-ri, a traditional Korean musician two years his senior, in 2011, and they have a daughter. Last year, he stepped down from his professorship at Baekseok Arts University following a controversy over inappropriate remarks.
