Singer JK Kim Dong-wook Offers Advice to President Lee Jae-myung on NATO Attendance

Singer JK Kim Dong-wook has offered some advice to President Lee Jae-myung.

On the 23rd, he posted on his personal account, stating, "Even as a non-member country, attending NATO as a global partner is the right move."

He continued, "If you were hurt by the comment about being invited to the G7 as a tribal chief, I apologize," adding, "Diplomacy is essential in times like these, even if the capability is lacking."

Previously, on the 22nd, the presidential office announced, "Despite the numerous pressing national issues following the president's inauguration, we have been actively considering the president's attendance at the upcoming NATO summit. However, after comprehensive consideration of various domestic issues and uncertainties due to the Middle East situation, it has been decided that the president will not attend this time."

Meanwhile, JK Kim Dong-wook has been known for his active support of former President Yoon Seok-youl following the 12/3 insurrection and declared his support for Kim Moon-soo, the People Power Party candidate, in the 21st presidential election.
