DinDin and Actress Shin Hyun-bin Revisit Childhood Memories in YouTube Video

DinDin shares childhood memories with actress Shin Hyun-bin, the only witness to the 'Dream of Square' incident.

On the 5th, DinDin's YouTube channel 'DinDin is DinDin' released a video titled 'The Only Witness of the Dream of Square Appears.' In this episode, DinDin was joined by actress Shin Hyun-bin, who recently returned with the movie 'The Hive.'

DinDin introduced Shin Hyun-bin, saying, "She has seen my entire growth process. We've known each other since I was five, and she hasn't changed a bit since childhood." Their connection is unique, having grown up in the same neighborhood, with Shin Hyun-bin being friends with DinDin's second sister since elementary school.

The video also shared childhood anecdotes. DinDin recounted how his sisters would make him try various experiments inspired by the popular show 'Sponge,' such as eating cola and Mentos or holding his breath. Shin Hyun-bin recalled, "I was the type to just sit and watch."

The infamous 'Dream of Square' incident was also mentioned. DinDin remembered being punished to the rhythm of a song by his sisters, with Shin Hyun-bin being the only witness. DinDin humorously added, "I was hit so often that I don't even remember if my sister was there."

DinDin added, "While my sister's friends joined in, Shin Hyun-bin tried to stop them, which is why I have fond memories of her." Shin Hyun-bin vividly recalled, "There was a time when music was playing, and I went to pick him up, but he didn't come out because he was being punished."

Shin Hyun-bin revealed that she still frequently meets with DinDin's second sister. DinDin expressed surprise, saying, "We don't have much in common. Our professions are different." However, Shin Hyun-bin proudly stated, "We listen well, talk well, and have fun together."

Their long-standing friendship has become a topic of interest, with Shin Hyun-bin often being asked about DinDin. She commented, "People find this relationship fascinating, almost like saying they've seen Michael Jackson."

DinDin, who used to casually call his second sister "Hey, you," now finds it awkward and is unsure how to address her, especially since she has a child. Shin Hyun-bin reassured him, saying, "I don't think you necessarily have to call her 'sister,' but I understand since you're in a public profession. It's good enough if you at least text her as 'sister.'"
