Comedian Lee Seung-yoon is mourning the loss of his mother.

According to reports from TenAsia on the 15th, Lee Seung-yoon's mother passed away on the 14th at the age of 77. Lee is reportedly staying by the family's side at the funeral hall, sharing in their grief.

The funeral is being held at Yonsei University Severance Hospital's funeral hall, Room 1. The service is scheduled for Friday, the 16th, at 12 PM.

Lee Seung-yoon debuted as a comedian in 2006 as part of KBS's 21st open recruitment. He gained popularity on the show 'Gag Concert' with his 'Health Boy' character. He has also been a beloved figure on MBN's 'I Am a Natural Person' for 12 years.

Recently, Lee showcased his unique sense of humor on SBS's 'Jungle Food,' a program where participants experience primitive tribal food culture and introduce Korean cuisine to the jungle. The show features 'K-Homemade Meal Master' Ryu Soo-young, along with Lee Seung-yoon, Seo In-guk, and Uee, as they venture into the jungles of Vanuatu to create Korean dishes using local ingredients.
