Hani and Yang Jae-woong are not getting married in September
Former EXID member and actress Hani (Ahn Hee-yeon) and broadcaster-psychiatrist Yang Jae-woong have decided to postpone their wedding.

On the 3rd, Yang Jae-woong's agency, Mystic Story, announced, "Yang Jae-woong has decided to postpone the wedding with Hani, which was scheduled for September." The new date has not been set, and there are no changes in their relationship. Hani's agency, Sublime, commented on the postponement, stating, "It is difficult to confirm," and refrained from further comments.

Earlier that day, a media outlet reported that the decision to postpone the wedding was made jointly by both parties after thorough discussions.

On May 27, a woman in her 30s died while hospitalized at a psychiatric hospital in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, where Yang Jae-woong serves as the chief director. The news of the patient's death coincided with the announcement of Hani and Yang Jae-woong's wedding, leading to public backlash.

Following media reports last month, Yang Jae-woong issued a statement through Mystic Story on the 29th, acknowledging the incident and apologizing: "Regarding the incident that occurred during the hospitalization process at W Jin Hospital, both I and the former medical staff are deeply saddened. We sincerely apologize to the bereaved family who are grieving the loss of their loved one."

Hani publicly confirmed her relationship with psychiatrist Yang Jae-woong in June 2022, stating they had been dating for two years. In June, she shared a handwritten letter and a photo of herself in a bridal veil, announcing their wedding. However, she has remained silent since Yang Jae-woong's incident. On the 13th of last month, EXID members celebrated their 12th debut anniversary on social media, but Hani did not post anything.
