Yoo Ah-in, today (24th) 11 o'clock, attendance at warrant review

The decision on whether to arrest actor Yoo Ah-in is expected today.

At 11:00 am on the 24th, Yoo Ah-in will undergo a warrant review for violating the Narcotics Control Act (drugs). Artist A, who is known as an acquaintance of Yoo Ah-in and graduated from an art college, was also judged.

Whether or not to arrest Yoo Ah-in and Mr. A is expected to be decided on the same night or early in the morning of the 25th.

Yoo Ah-in is suspected of administering drugs such as propofol, hemp, cocaine, ketamine, and zolpidem. The police received a request from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) at the end of last year and started a full-scale investigation in February of this year.

Earlier, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) captured the circumstances in which Yoo Ah-in was prescribed more than 4.4 liters of propofol 73 times at various hospitals in 2021 through a computer network and requested an investigation. Later, the police detected propofol, hemp, cocaine, and ketamine in Yoo Ah-in's urine and hair.

The police have been investigating Yoo Ah-in by indicting four people around him on charges of assisting him in administering drugs or administering drugs himself. Among them, Mr. A found out the circumstances of the attempt to destroy evidence and applied for an arrest warrant with Yoo Ah-in.
