The wife cares for 100 dogs and 100 cats under one roof, dedicating her entire day to animals, while the husband expresses concerns about the financial and physical limits of running an animal shelter.
The wife of the 'Protection Couple' has sold off their entire fortune of 1 billion won to operate the animal shelter. She even admits to bankrupting her sister after spending millions of her husband's money, leaving the studio in shock. In contrast, the husband reveals they are facing a monthly deficit of 6 million won and can no longer cope, but the wife insists, "It's not my fault," focusing solely on the animals.
The couple's home, where animals and humans live without boundaries, also shocks viewers. The husband describes the house as "not a human home," using it as a hospice for sick animals. He laments, "The constant smell of animal waste makes it hard to eat unless you have a strong stomach."
The husband's frustration is shared by their eldest daughter, who reveals that her relationship with her mother has deteriorated due to the shelter.
