As IU, Shin Hye-sun, and Go Yoon-jung engage in a weekend drama showdown, Lim Ji-yeon steps into the spotlight with the release of the main poster for 'Brave New World.' This marks Lim Ji-yeon's debut in a comedic role, and audiences are eager to see if she can captivate viewers with her new persona.
On the 29th, SBS unveiled the main poster for its new Friday-Saturday drama, 'Brave New World.' The series is a romantic comedy drama that tells the explosive story of Shin Se-ri (played by Lim Ji-yeon), an unknown actress possessed by the spirit of a notorious villainess from the Joseon era, and Cha Sae-gye (played by Heo Nam-joon), a ruthless conglomerate heir dubbed a monster of capitalism.
In the poster, Lim Ji-yeon and Heo Nam-joon are depicted side by side within an embroidered tapestry adorned with peonies and butterflies. The two exude a picturesque visual chemistry at the center of the vibrant tapestry.
Notably, the contrast between Lim Ji-yeon's traditional court attire and Heo Nam-joon's modern suit draws attention. The poster's tagline, 'What a wonderful world to live in!' hints at the new destiny that Lim Ji-yeon and the villainous heir Heo Nam-joon will forge as they crash-land into 21st-century South Korea.
'Brave New World' is set to premiere on the 8th of next month at 9:50 PM.
