Final Episode of 'My Child's Romance 2' Airs Tonight: Who Will Be the Ultimate Couple?

The final episode of tvN STORY & E Channel's 'My Child's Romance 2' airs tonight (29th), concluding a 10-week journey of romance with the final choices of the 'My Child' participants. The production team teased, "At the end of the broadcast, the current status of the final couples will also be revealed." Yoon Hoo, son of Yoon Min-soo, who is studying at the University of North Carolina, initially introduced himself as wanting a 'romance where we only look at each other,' but faces the realistic challenge of a long-distance relationship with Choi Yubin, daughter of Choi Jae-won.

Co-produced by tvN STORY and T-Cast E Channel, 'My Child's Romance 2' has maintained its fresh format by adding a parental perspective to the romance reality show that gained attention in Season 1. The show has been noted for enhancing the excitement of the romance narrative. The delight of seeing former child stars now grown up and dating, the candid and fresh charm of the children meeting for the first time, and the biased yet sincere reactions of the parents have created a new formula for a generational empathy romance show. As a result, it has consistently ranked in the TVING TOP 10 since its first week of airing in February.

Particularly, the love triangle involving Shin Jae-hyuk, Woo Seo-yoon, and Jo Eun-byeol has been at the center of attention, raising curiosity about whether a 'final couple' will emerge. The 'truth game' in the last episode further complicated their relationships, with sharp questions directed at Shin Jae-hyuk about his feelings, leaving an uncomfortable and complex night for all three. Shin Jae-hyuk's true feelings remain shrouded in mystery amidst the emotional turmoil stirred by the truth game.

The preview video released before the broadcast begins with Jo Eun-byeol expressing her long-held resentment to Shin Jae-hyuk, asking, "I have no certainty about your feelings. Why are you making it so confusing?" Shin Jae-hyuk responds, "I have to choose one person," heightening the tension. Additionally, reading a letter received in the final night's letter room seems to stir his emotions once more. His confession, "Reading the letter made my heart complicated," along with scenes of him happily taking photos with Woo Seo-yoon, makes it unpredictable whose hand he will hold until the last moment.

Choi Yubin and Yoon Hoo, who have steadily built affection, face a realistic barrier before the final choice. Choi Yubin asks Yoon Hoo, who is studying in the U.S., "Are you confident about a long-distance relationship?" Yoon Hoo also asks back, "What about you?" Their serious conversation after a date full of excitement raises curiosity about the outcome of their final choice.

Choi Yubin confides, "It's been less than a week since I met Yoon Hoo, but when he returns to the U.S., I wondered if it would be possible to date without seeing each other for months, so we had a serious conversation." Yoon Hoo also shares, "I want to continue my relationship with Yubin, but since I have to go back to the U.S., I felt a bit anxious about whether there was a change of heart."

In the final episode, the parents also transform into 'predictors,' offering divided opinions. Even coach Shin Tae-yong, watching his son's choice, couldn't hide his tension over the unpredictable outcome.
