Veteran Actress Jeon Won-joo Reveals Special Bond with Actor Yoo Hae-jin

Veteran actress Jeon Won-joo, 86, has opened up about her special connection with actor Yoo Hae-jin. Previously, Jeon revealed that she had purchased Hynix stocks at around 20,000 KRW per share 15 years ago.

On the October 29th episode of TV CHOSUN's 'Perfect Life,' Jeon Won-joo shared her unique bond with Yoo Hae-jin.

Jeon made a striking entrance with her trademark hearty laughter, capturing attention. She shared, "After moving into my current home 30 years ago, my life started to improve," sparking curiosity. While strolling through her neighborhood, she reminisced, "I always played roles like a maid or a neighborhood lady. Hoping for success, I would look up at the mountain and pray, 'Please let Jeon Won-joo shine!'" When MC Hyun Young asked how things turned around for her, Jeon added, "After moving, I started earning money, and the commercials I shot became popular, leading to more CF opportunities."

During her walk, she mentioned, "Actor Yoo Hae-jin lives in this neighborhood. Our protruding lips made us look alike, so we played a mother-son duo in a movie." When a photo from their film 'The Mayor and the District Leader' was shown, MC Oh Ji-ho remarked, "I could believe he's really your son," expressing surprise. Jeon humorously added, "I thought, people with protruding lips must have money," bringing laughter.

At 86, Jeon also shared her health concerns, "I've been experiencing frequent memory lapses. I sometimes fail to recognize people, leading to misunderstandings, and I worry when I can't recall names." She continued, "Once, someone treated me to a meal, but I couldn't remember, which was embarrassing. Now, I've developed a habit of taking notes." She revealed her efforts to prevent dementia, "I'm worried about becoming a burden to my children and those around me, so I engage in singing, dancing, and hiking."
