On the morning of the 27th, a press conference for the Disney+ original series 'Goldland' was held at the Conrad Seoul Hotel in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by actors Park Bo-young, Kim Sung-cheol, Lee Hyun-wook, Kim Hee-won, Moon Jung-hee, Lee Kwang-soo, and director Kim Sung-hoon.
During the event, Kim Hee-won shared, "I've thought about it, and I think it would be dangerous. But if I did have it, I'd use it wisely and donate to cultural development."
Kim Sung-cheol commented, "I always get this question, and my answer keeps changing. Sometimes I want it, sometimes I feel it's not mine, and today I want it again. If it were given to me, I'd want to use it for good. I don't believe in free things, so I'd use it with good intentions."
Park Bo-young reflected, "As a member of society, I wondered if I could really give up this money. I did feel a bit of desire to have it. Living as Hee-joo, I experienced a lot of vicarious satisfaction. I lived according to my desires, but it wasn't 100% happiness. As of now, I don't want it, but if I had it, I'd fulfill some personal desires and then use it for good."
Lee Hyun-wook said, "If 150 billion won safely came to me, I'd want to see how much I could spend in a day. I'm curious about how far I could go and what I'd think. I'd like to do good deeds, buy things I want, and see where it becomes too much."
Lee Kwang-soo joked, "If the source is unclear, I'm the type to return it to the owner. If you return a wallet, you get a percentage as a reward, so I'd put that money in the bank and earn interest."
Meanwhile, 'Goldland' is a survival thriller about Hee-joo (played by Park Bo-young), who gets her hands on 150 billion won worth of gold from a smuggling organization and fights to keep it all to herself. The series consists of 10 episodes and will be released with two episodes every week starting on the 29th.
