Seo Kyung-seok, the original 'brainy comedian' from Seoul National University, is set to appear on 'Malja Show'.
Airing at 9:30 PM on the 27th, KBS2's 'Malja Show' will feature a special episode themed 'First Experiences in Life'. Seo Kyung-seok, known as the 'first comedian from Seoul National University', will share various anecdotes from his life.
Debuting in 1993, Seo Kyung-seok quickly rose to fame alongside Shin Dong-yup and Park Soo-hong, becoming one of the 'three great comedians'. He was also famously admired by female comedians like Jo Hye-ryun, Kim Hyo-jin, and Ahn Sun-young. On the show, Seo will candidly discuss his past popularity and what he believes were the secrets to his appeal.
Seo Kyung-seok is not only a comedian but also a certified Korean language teacher, a licensed real estate agent, and the first celebrity to score a perfect mark on the Korean History Proficiency Test. He offers heartfelt advice to an audience member who shares their struggles with depression following academic setbacks and a breakup.
During the episode, Seo admits, "I am a foolishly smart person," capturing the audience's attention. He reveals, "I have been betrayed by people I considered like siblings," and shares, "I lost both money and friends after lending money." He explains his sense of responsibility, saying, "I wanted to solve their problems like an older brother."
Seo also reveals that he received stern advice from Dr. Oh Eun-young regarding these experiences, piquing curiosity about what Dr. Oh's advice entailed.
