Actress Ji Ye-eun has openly addressed her relationship with dancer Bata.
On the October 19th episode of SBS's variety show 'Running Man', a preview for the 800th episode special was aired.
In the teaser, Yoo Jae-suk announced, "We have a big event for the 800th episode. Ji Ye-eun's dating news has broken out." On October 13th, Ji Ye-eun confirmed her relationship with Bata through her agency, stating, "We are seeing each other with good feelings."
Yang Se-chan, who was previously linked with Ji Ye-eun on 'Running Man', exclaimed, "What are you talking about?" to which Ji Ye-eun apologized, saying, "I'm sorry, oppa," and humorously added, "Fortune favors the bold."
Later, while making pottery, the 'Running Man' members teased Ji Ye-eun, saying, "Anyone can see Ji Ye-eun is in love," and "Yang Se-chan is shocked by Ji Ye-eun's dating news."
Ji Ye-eun and Bata, both born in 1994, reportedly developed from church friends to a romantic couple. Last July, Ji Ye-eun formed a project group with comedian Ji Seok-jin called 'Chungju Ji Clan' and performed at 'WATERBOMB SEOUL 2025', where she collaborated with Bata, who choreographed the 'Milkshake' dance.
Ji Ye-eun revealed on MBC FM4U's '2 O'Clock Date with Ahn Young-mi' that she personally invited Bata, saying, "Bata is my church friend. I subtly hinted by saying, 'Isn't the song great?' 'Don't you want to do a challenge?' and he took the bait and helped out."
