Kim Jong-kook Playfully Criticizes Choo Sung-hoon's Busy Variety Show Schedule
SBS Plus's 'The Manly Way to Travel in Kyushu' premieres on the 21st at 8:40 PM. The show features a raw and adventurous travelogue with Korea's representative macho men, Choo Sung-hoon, Kim Jong-kook, and Daesung. These three men, full of testosterone, showcase their competitive spirit, endless bravado, and childlike antics in an adrenaline-fueled bromance journey.
From the moment they meet at the airport, Choo Sung-hoon, Kim Jong-kook, and Daesung engage in non-stop banter, living up to their reputation as 'laughter vending machines.' Daesung, excited to reunite with Kim Jong-kook on a fixed variety show for the first time in 16 years since 'Family Outing,' recreates a nostalgic dance, prompting Kim Jong-kook to sigh and say, "That's not the style these days," adding humor to the scene. Despite Kim Jong-kook's comments, Daesung continues with his 'old-school' reactions, leading Kim Jong-kook to exclaim, "Where did you get stuck?" causing laughter all around.
Kim Jong-kook jokingly comments on Choo Sung-hoon's rise as a 'hot guy in variety shows,' saying, "Choo Sung-hoon seems to be working as if he's going to quit in two years," drawing laughter. Kim Jong-kook also anticipates Choo Sung-hoon's hectic reactions during the first shoot, given his busy schedule.
Recently, Choo Sung-hoon appeared on tvN's 'Health Farmer,' Channel A's 'Chef and Hunter,' tvN's 'Cha Ga Ne,' and JTBC's 'Can't Do It Alone,' but faced low ratings. Choo Sung-hoon expressed gratitude for the opportunities, acknowledging the challenges and his perceived lack of skill, vowing to start anew with determination.
The production team stated, "'The Manly Way to Travel in Kyushu' combines the excitement of travel with the fun of male camaraderie, featuring the comedic prowess of Choo Sung-hoon, Kim Jong-kook, and Daesung."
'The Manly Way to Travel in Kyushu' premieres at 8:40 PM.
