On October 7th, Park Ji-hyun appeared on SBS PowerFM's 'Wendy's Young Street' at 8 PM. Despite it being her first visit during the evening slot, she showcased her unique charm and energy that grew as time went on. Wendy, impressed by Park's appearance, remarked, "You're tall and have a great physique," to which Park humbly responded, "It's not that much, but I work hard to maintain it," creating a warm atmosphere from the start.
During the show, Park Ji-hyun shared that her favorite nickname among many, such as 'Trot Prince' and 'Door Guy,' is 'Live Fish Voice.' She expressed her fondness for the nickname, saying, "I like the lively feeling it gives, which was first given to me during an audition." This lively energy is also reflected in her debut album 'MASTER VOICE.' Park explained, "I worked hard to include various voices and genres in the album." Wendy praised Park's wide musical spectrum, saying, "It feels like you change your voice for each song. It's amazing how you bring different vibes to each genre."
In a live performance, Park captivated the audience with a rendition of 'Goodbye is a Sad Word,' a song that resonates with younger listeners, perfectly matching the 'Young Street' vibe. Wendy was full of praise, saying, "It's a fantastic live performance. It's one of my favorite songs."
Park Ji-hyun also shared her playlist, performing a short live version of senior artist Nam Jin's 'Nest' and her own song 'All Things Truck,' showcasing her unique 'Live Fish Voice' energy and the diverse charm of her album.
She revealed her deep-rooted love for trot music, saying, "My phone's algorithm is filled with videos of Nam Jin and Na Hoon-a. I hardly listen to anything other than trot these days." Yet, she also shared a candid side, admitting, "Sometimes I feel like throwing my phone away and going somewhere far."
Park didn't forget to tease her fans with a spoiler for her upcoming concert. She confidently stated that her solo concert 'Showmanship Season 2,' scheduled for this week, will be "much more varied than Season 1," and invited fans to experience the 'Ji-hyun Night' firsthand.
