Kim Seung-soo is engulfed in betrayal as he uncovers the truth behind the Yang family's deception.
In the 20th episode of KBS2's weekend drama 'Prescription for Love,' aired on the 5th, hidden truths surfaced, causing a massive storm between the Gong and Yang families.
During the episode, Cha Se-ri's (played by So Yi-hyun) husband, Yang Dong-ik (played by Kim Hyung-mook), was attacked by a robber instead of Gong Jung-han (played by Kim Seung-soo). Although he only suffered minor injuries, Gong Jung-han was deeply moved, wondering how Yang Dong-ik could take the knife for him. Meanwhile, Yang Dong-ik, unable to confess the truth behind the staged incident, faced Gong Jung-han with a tense atmosphere.
At the same time, Choi Min-seo (played by Park Ri-won), who was staying at a barbecue restaurant, was led to the Yang family by Yang Eun-bin (played by Yoon Seo-ah). During this process, Cha Se-ri and Choi Min-seo recognized each other as 'rude' and 'strange lady,' marking a dramatic reunion. The anticipation grows as to what events will unfold with these two intertwined in the same space.
Meanwhile, Yang Dong-ik decided to leave the past behind and embrace change. He vowed to endure the challenges and sincerely told Cha Se-ri, "Live for you." Concerned about Yang Dong-ik, Gong Jung-han visited his house, but Yang Dong-ik postponed confessing the truth, wanting to enjoy the happiness for just one more day. The two shared a moment of pure innocence, playing with water in broad daylight, creating a peaceful yet poignant atmosphere before the storm.
Gong Ju-ah (played by Jin Se-yeon), who learned about the staged incident, suffered alone, worried about the impact on her family. Upon hearing that Yang Dong-ik was the savior of Gong Jung-han's life, she decided to keep the truth hidden. She also asked Yang Hyun-bin (played by Park Ki-woong) for time to decide on their relationship, adding to the heartache.
Elsewhere, Yang Dong-sook (played by Jo Mi-ryung) faced a crisis as she got involved in a voice phishing scam. Rushing to the bank after receiving threats about her son Min Ji-hoo (played by Jo Yi-hyun), she was discovered by Gong Dae-han (played by Choi Dae-chul), who calmly reassured her and found Min Ji-hoo, resolving the incident. Moved to tears, Yang Dong-sook was confessed to by Gong Dae-han, who said, "I like you. I worry about you, miss you, and like you a lot," sparking warm feelings.
Towards the end of the episode, Yang Dong-ik made a critical mistake while trying to send a duet video with Gong Jung-han to the 'Human Theater' production team. He accidentally sent the video of the staged incident that had put Gong Ju-ah at risk of disciplinary action to Gong Jung-han. Realizing his mistake too late, Yang Dong-ik faced a cold and betrayed Gong Jung-han. It was a shocking ending where deep friendship shattered in an instant.
