Comedian Kim Ji-yoo (36) finds herself charmed by the 'Eiffel Tower's Icon' Paco's flirtatious antics.
In the episode of 'Desperate Bite' airing on the 31st, new MC Kim Ji-yoo and guest Paco embark on a quest to find the 'most desired food' he craves before his departure.
Meeting for the first time at 7 AM at Daejeon Station, Paco is taken aback by the freezing -13°C cold, exclaiming, "It's so cold!" Kim Ji-yoo warmly offers him a hot pack and asks his age, to which Paco responds that he is 33, playfully calling her "Ji-yoo noona," creating a friendly atmosphere. Kim Ji-yoo, known for her impersonation of Im Woo-il's catchphrase "Jja-su~," exudes her unique cheerful energy, which Paco mimics perfectly, eliciting laughter.
Kim Ji-yoo continues the conversation by asking Paco about his departure schedule after his first visit to Korea. When Paco mentions leaving the next day, Kim Ji-yoo expresses regret, asking, "What food do you desperately want to eat before returning to France?" Paco, showing his keen awareness of trends, replies, "I haven't tried Korean cake yet. I've heard about a famous bakery in Daejeon." Kim Ji-yoo playfully flirts across borders, asking, "Are you understanding what I'm saying, or are you just looking at me because I'm pretty?" The duo then attempts to join the 'Strawberry Shiru' open run at Seongsimdang, only to be shocked by the long queue early in the morning. Paco remarks, "There's no waiting culture in Paris. At most, it's about 3 minutes," expressing his surprise at Korea's unique open run culture.
Despite the long wait, Paco's popularity extends to Daejeon. Fans recognize him, greet him, and even show photos taken in Paris, turning the scene into an impromptu fan meeting. Overwhelmed by the fans' greetings and gifts, Paco expresses his gratitude, saying, "I'm so happy," and after a two-hour wait, he finally gets his hands on the 'Strawberry Shiru' and 'Matcha Shiru.' Amazed by the cake's size, Paco comments, "In France, this would cost 80 euros (about $130)," heightening anticipation for the 'Desperate Bite' mukbang.
The playful chemistry between Kim Ji-yoo and Paco, with their constant flirting, is a highlight. Paco shows his affection by wiping cake off Kim Ji-yoo's face and responds to her complaint about her makeup smudging with, "You look best with a bare face."
