A touching story of Shin Dong-yup apologizing on behalf of Sayuri has been revealed.
On the 30th, the YouTube channel 'Jjanhanyoung Shin Dong-yup' released a video titled 'Unpredictable Charm Sayuri X Kim Kyung-wook. And the Appearance of Sayuri's Men?!'.
In the video, Sayuri recalled a rare moment when Shin Dong-yup, known for his calm demeanor, got angry. She said, "He's always smiling, but I saw him get angry once before a recording session."
Sayuri explained, "A female celebrity said many bad things to me. I just stayed quiet, but oppa suddenly got angry. He thought her behavior towards me was inappropriate and scolded her."
A week later, Sayuri met Shin Dong-yup again at another shoot. She shared, "When I greeted him in the waiting room, he said, 'I couldn't stand how that guest treated you. I apologize on her behalf.' I realized then what a great person he is."
Shin Dong-yup recalled, "I remember. It was during the 'Hello' recording. As a fellow Korean, I felt so embarrassed and sorry." He added, "I wish I could say who it was. It was very disrespectful." Sayuri praised Shin Dong-yup, saying, "He doesn't get angry for himself, but he can't stand seeing weak people being bullied. That's so admirable."
