Kim Young-hee Offers Real-Life Advice on Workplace Relationships

Kim Young-hee, who married a man 10 years her junior, shared practical advice for those struggling with workplace relationships.

The KBS2 show 'Malja Show' aired on the 30th, featuring a 'Special for Office Workers.' The episode addressed the realistic concerns of employees who love their jobs but dread going to work because of their colleagues.

'Malja Grandma' Kim Young-hee offered advice based on her own experiences in the workforce. She recalled her time working part-time at a high-end Korean restaurant, saying, "Customers would give me tips, saying I was working so hard for someone so young. Despite my efforts, the 'aunties' never received tips." She explained that when she began receiving all the tips, the 'aunties' complained to the restaurant owner, and despite being a diligent worker, she was eventually let go.

Kim Young-hee advised those considering quitting due to people issues, "Don't leave because of people. They are not the ones paying your salary." She shared a story from her early career when Park Young-jin comforted her, saying, "While people can hurt you, it's also people who help you heal. I hope you don't let people sway your work life," offering encouragement.
