Former basketball player and TV personality Hyun Joo-yeop is on a mission to become a better father by fulfilling his son's long-held wish. His son, Hyun Jun-hee, who had previously been hospitalized due to health issues, is celebrating his birthday on the upcoming episode of TV CHOSUN's 'Dad and Me Season 3' airing on the 4th.
Hyun Joo-yeop had forgotten Jun-hee's birthday for two consecutive years, leaving his son feeling neglected. Jun-hee expressed his disappointment, saying, “I was a bit upset that you forgot again this year.” When asked what he wanted to do, Jun-hee revealed, “I want to go to a PC café with you this time.”
Previously, Jun-hee had confessed to his father's close friend, Ahn Jung-hwan, that he had never been to a PC café due to his father's opposition. Ahn, intrigued by Jun-hee's revelation, asked, “Would you go if your dad suggested it?” to which Jun-hee eagerly replied, “Of course!” Despite Ahn's advice to Hyun Joo-yeop that visiting a PC café could open Jun-hee's heart, the father-son duo had yet to make the trip. Han Hye-jin criticized Hyun Joo-yeop, saying, “How can you not have gone yet?”
Finally, in celebration of Jun-hee's birthday, Hyun Joo-yeop decided, “Since it's Jun-hee's birthday and his wish, going to a PC café might make me a good dad rather than a stubborn one.” As they headed to the PC café, Jun-hee hummed happily, and Han Hye-jin praised the change, saying, “You did well.” The duo appeared awkward and bewildered during their first visit, struggling with membership registration, login, and payment before finally starting their PC café experience. While Jun-hee immersed himself in gaming, Hyun Joo-yeop was pleasantly surprised by the variety of food options, remarking, “It's much better than I expected.”
However, tension arose between Hyun Joo-yeop and Jun-hee later on. Hyun Joo-yeop expressed his frustration, saying, “Even though I try to understand, I just can't,” leaving viewers curious about what Jun-hee might have done.
The incident that disrupted the seemingly harmonious father-son relationship will be revealed in the episode airing at 10 PM on 'Dad and Me Season 3.'
