The true identity of actor Yoon Kyung-ho, 45, has been unveiled.
In the sixth episode of the YouTube channel 'VIVO TV - VIVOTV' series 'Castle of Acting,' released on the 2nd, Yoon Kyung-ho appeared alongside Kim Eui-sung and Lim Hyung-joon, engaging in a tense debate over his 'aged appearance' and real age.
During the episode, Kim Eui-sung and Lim Hyung-joon started a playful banter while Yoon was parking, with Kim saying, “I heard Kyung-ho is doing well these days. He doesn't look handsome, so why?” Lim chimed in, “It's better than looking ambiguous,” heating up the atmosphere.
Yoon Kyung-ho, who appeared shortly after, shared his busy schedule, saying, “I just stopped by while passing through.” The casting story from the previous episode resurfaced, revealing that Lim Hyung-joon was initially offered a role in the film 'Method Acting,' planned by Lee Dong-hwi, but it fell through due to payment issues. Yoon then claimed, “I was the first choice for casting,” flipping the narrative. Lim repeatedly exclaimed, “Really?” and “That's creepy,” sparking a subtle pride contest that brought laughter.
The atmosphere took an unexpected turn when police arrived due to a parking complaint and requested ID verification. It was revealed that Yoon Kyung-ho was not born in 1980 but was actually 'Yoon Man-soo, born in 1969,' shocking everyone. Yoon admitted that his aged appearance was part of a casting strategy. To appease the stunned Kim and Lim, he offered luxury watches and proposed, “I will give 5% of my future earnings to Lim Hyung-joon and 8% to Kim Eui-sung.”
However, a phone call from the show's producer at the end of the broadcast caused further turmoil. Upon learning that his real name and age had been leaked, Yoon was furious, exclaiming, “We agreed not to talk about this! How am I supposed to live now?” and stormed out, ending the episode with a dramatic exit.
The real twist was revealed in the epilogue. The police officer who conducted the parking check was shown calling his wife, saying, “While issuing a ticket, I saw Yoon Kyung-ho's ID, and he's actually Yoon Man-soo, born in 1969. Don't tell anyone.” It turned out to be a private conversation that led to the incident, completing another twist.
Meanwhile, 'Castle of Acting' is a mockumentary variety show featuring Kim Eui-sung, with Lim Hyung-joon as the planner, director, writer, and actor.
