Kim Hyang-gi's Rise to Fame as a BL Author in 'The Absolute Value of Romance'

Kim Hyang-gi has suddenly risen to fame as a popular BL (Boys' Love) author in 'The Absolute Value of Romance'.

On the 24th, Coupang Play released stills from episodes 5 and 6 of the series 'The Absolute Value of Romance'. The photos depict the increasingly challenging school life of Eui-joo, played by Kim Hyang-gi.

Eui-joo's joy of becoming a hit author overnight is short-lived as she desperately pleads to prevent her novel from being discovered by Woo-soo, played by Cha Hak-yeon. The contrast between Woo-soo's shocked expression as he stares at the laptop and Eui-joo's dazed look heightens the tension between them and raises curiosity about their future relationship.

The characters in Eui-joo's novel 'We Were Friends', which is a product of her vivid imagination, captivate with their striking visuals. Unlike their real-life counterparts, the teachers Woo-soo, Ki-jeon (played by Son Jeong-hyeok), and Dong-joo (played by Kim Dong-kyu) exude a dangerously alluring aura, showcasing intense chemistry that targets viewers' dopamine. The bold dialogues and daring settings that emerge during emotionally charged moments combine with Eui-joo's unpredictable imagination to add excitement to the storyline.

Additionally, a humorous episode awaits where Eui-joo meets an unexpected fan during a girls' night out, liberating her instincts. Meanwhile, Da-joo (played by Kim Jae-hyun), who is usually cheerful, is seen contemplating something related to Woo-soo, adding to the intrigue.

Episodes 5 and 6 of 'The Absolute Value of Romance' will be released at 8 PM.
