In the 39th episode of Channel S's 'Independent Tour 4' (co-produced by Channel S and SK Broadband), airing on the 28th, Kim Dae-hee, Kim Jun-ho, Jang Dong-min, Yoo Se-yoon, and Hong In-gyu visit the breathtaking landscapes of Yuanjiajie, the inspiration for the Hallelujah Mountains in the movie 'Avatar'.
The tour kicks off at Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, a top-rated tourist destination in China. The group first boards the Bailong Elevator, a must-see attraction standing at 330 meters tall, making it the world's highest outdoor elevator. Hong In-gyu repeatedly exclaims, "Is this for real?" and the group is amazed to learn that it takes only about 1 minute and 40 seconds to reach the top at a speed of 3 meters per second.
As the elevator ascends, Hong In-gyu marvels at the view through the glass walls, shouting, "Jun-ho, you have to see this! It's incredible." However, Kim Jun-ho, suffering from acrophobia, closes his eyes tightly and pleads, "Don't touch me, it's too terrifying," eventually collapsing to the floor. Meanwhile, the rest of the group is captivated by the ever-changing scenery of Zhangjiajie, exclaiming, "This is insane!"
Upon exiting the elevator, the group finally encounters Yuanjiajie, the real-life inspiration for the Hallelujah Mountains in 'Avatar'. They discover the Tian Xia Di Yi Qiao, a natural bridge connecting two peaks, formed over millions of years of erosion. Jang Dong-min explains, "People come here to make wishes on the bridge, believing they will come true."
The group, feeling apprehensive, suggests, "Let's play rock-paper-scissors, and the loser has to cross the bridge." Yoo Se-yoon loses and, mustering courage, reaches the bridge, shouting to the group, "Are you taking my picture? I'm floating in the sky!" However, when he notices the group is distracted, he exclaims in frustration, "What are you doing? You're not even watching me!"
The 39th episode of 'Independent Tour 4' airs at 9 PM.
