Park Ji-hoon of Wanna One Shares Heartwarming Story of Gifting His Father a Car
Park Ji-hoon, former member of the popular K-pop group Wanna One, recently shared a touching story about a generous gift he gave to his father.

On the February 25th episode of tvN's variety show 'You Quiz on the Block' (episode 332), Park Ji-hoon, who starred in the hit film 'The King and the Clown,' appeared as a guest.

Host Yoo Jae-suk mentioned that some viewers might only now realize, "Is that the guy who said 'Save you in my heart'?" referring to Park's famous catchphrase during his Wanna One days. Yoo reminisced about the massive popularity of Wanna One, describing it as a phenomenon.

Born in 1999, Park Ji-hoon revealed that at the age of 22, during his fourth year since debut, he gifted his father a car. He explained, "My father had been driving his old car for a long time, and I wanted to give him something nice. Since he likes cars, I decided to 'flex' and get him an SUV."

Yoo Jae-suk expressed surprise at the generous gift, saying, "You got him a nice car," to which Park Ji-hoon humorously described it as "rugged and boxy." Yoo jokingly referred to it as a "bargain sale," and Park played along, saying, "I got it for him at a bargain sale," bringing laughter to the set. Yoo Jae-suk admired the gesture, and Park Ji-hoon added, "He's still driving it."
