Survival King Season 2: Global Expansion and Thrilling Challenges Await
Ahead of the first broadcast of 'Survival King Season 2', two special episodes titled 'Survival King Special Edition' will air on May 19 and 26, revisiting the emotional and exhilarating moments of Season 1.
The first special episode, 'Survival King Special Edition – Battle Edition: Only the Strong Survive', airing on May 19, will reconstruct the intense battles from Season 1. From the gender-defying race between Kim Min-ji and Amoti, to the intense trench combat between Kim Dong-hyun and Jung Ji-hyun, and the blockbuster-level uninhabited island flag competition featuring the military and jungle team alliance's double infiltration operation, viewers will be treated to the thrilling taste of competition.
The second special episode, 'Survival King Special Edition – Survival Edition: The Strong Survive', airing on May 26, will showcase the desperate survival highlights. Episodes featuring fire-making, fish processing, and watermelon smashing under the self-sufficient rules of Survival King will be revealed. Finally, the determination of the Season 2 cast will be unveiled, heightening anticipation for the fierce battles to become the second Survival King.
Meanwhile, 'Survival King Season 2', premiering on May 20, will determine the 'Strongest Survival King in Asia', extending beyond South Korea. 'Physical Entertainment Icon' Kim Jong-kook joins as the new MC, with 'First Survival King' Kim Byung-man, 'UDT Veteran' Yuk Jun-seo, and The Boyz's Younghoon forming the 'Korean Team'. Additionally, a total of 12 participants, including famous entertainers from Taiwan, Japan, and Malaysia, will compete in a 'Global Team Battle' across jungles, deserts, and cities. 'Survival King Season 2' has completed filming in Taiwan.
