Actor Kim Ji-hoon (44) has revealed his latest role, where he plays a character entangled in an affair with Jo Yeo-jeong (45) while being married to Kim Hye-soo (55).
On the October 23rd episode of SBS's variety show 'But Seriously!' (also known as 'Akeunjin'), Kim Ji-hoon appeared as a guest.
Kim Ji-hoon is currently filming the Coupang Play original drama 'Infidelity is Not the Issue Right Now'. The series is a dark comedy that follows a popular influencer couple and their neighbors, a doctor couple embroiled in a messy divorce, as they become entangled in secrets that make infidelity seem trivial. Kim Ji-hoon plays Jae-hong, the husband of Kyung-hee (played by Kim Hye-soo), who lives in the shadow of his successful wife.
Regarding his character, Kim Ji-hoon stated, "I'm married to Kim Hye-soo but have an affair with Jo Yeo-jeong. It's an infidelity drama." He added, "Just hearing the title gives you an idea of the drama's content. We started filming in January this year, and we're currently in the midst of the affair scenes."
When asked who he would choose between Kim Hye-soo and Jo Yeo-jeong in real life, Kim Ji-hoon confessed, "It's too difficult. I want both." Upon hearing that his character is an actor, Lee Sang-min asked, "Is it based on a true story?" while Kai remarked, "It's too provocative."
