Kim Gura Opens Up About Ex-Wife's Debt on 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2'
The episode featured entertainers Lee Sang-min, Lee Bong-won, Kim Byung-hyun, and Yoon Hyung-bin sharing various stories. Lee Sang-min recalled his financial struggles, stating, "The disclosed debt amount was 6.9 billion won." In response, Kim Gura indirectly referred to his ex-wife's debt, saying, "What is known is only 1.7 billion won." Kim Gura had previously married a non-celebrity woman in 1997, had a son named Gree, and divorced in 2015. It was reported that he paid off his ex-wife's 1.7 billion won debt within three years, which drew public attention.
The episode also featured Yoon Hyung-bin confessing to a business failure. Yoon Hyung-bin revealed, "Before becoming a comedian, I started an event company. When I debuted as a comedian and ran a theater, it almost succeeded. The comedy idol ranked first on a Japanese portal's real-time search, and the showcase sold out in three minutes," he said.
Yoon Hyung-bin admitted, "I thought COVID-19 was unbeatable, similar to a natural disaster. I believed in going with the flow and thought about what could work during COVID-19. I came up with meal kits. So, I opened an offline meal kit store, but offline didn't work well either. It seems I incurred a deficit of about 2 billion won."
