Netflix's reality music show 'Hit Song Needs a Famous Singer' has completed its lineup by revealing the final two producers: Code Kunst and Car, the Garden. Interestingly, Car, the Garden shares the same real name as Cha Jung-won, who recently confirmed a relationship with Ha Jung-woo, leading to some congratulatory mix-ups.
SLL announced that Code Kunst and Car, the Garden will join as the final producers for 'Hit Song Needs a Famous Singer' (hereafter 'Hit Song'). With this addition, the lineup now includes six renowned 'hit song makers' in the Korean music industry, alongside previously announced Yoon Jong-shin, Kim Jong-wan of Nell, Zion.T, and An Shin-ae.
Code Kunst, known for his unique beats and innovative producing style, has captivated audiences beyond the hip-hop scene over his 14-year career. Having produced numerous chart-topping hits like 'Wake Up', 'Good Day', and 'O (Feat. Lee Hi)', he is expected to provide the TOP6 with powerful 'music weapons' characterized by trendy and addictive sounds. His ability to amplify an artist's charm is anticipated to create a dynamic synergy with the TOP6.
Car, the Garden, also a 14-year veteran, is beloved for his vintage sensibility and distinctive voice. Known for heartfelt tracks like 'Tree', 'Myeongdong Calling', and 'Become My Little World', he is set to enhance the vocal depth of the TOP6. Fans are eagerly anticipating the 'life songs' that will emerge from the fusion of Car, the Garden's lyrical intensity and the dramatic narratives of 'Sing Again 4' TOP6.
With the addition of Code Kunst's innovative beats and Car, the Garden's deep emotional resonance, 'Hit Song' has established a 'genre-integrated' lineup that includes Yoon Jong-shin's experience, Kim Jong-wan's sound aesthetics, Zion.T's trendiness, and An Shin-ae's soulful emotion.
The production team of 'Hit Song' stated, "The musical spectrum created by pairing producers with distinct styles with the TOP6 will exceed expectations. Look forward to the birth of hit songs that will be unveiled on Netflix, beyond just a survival show."
Netflix's 'Hit Song' will premiere on October 28 at 5 PM and will air every Saturday.
