Actress Yoon Yoo-sun shared the story behind her decision to turn down a role in a film with explicit content.
On the October 19th episode of KBS2TV's variety show 'Problem Child in House,' Yoon Yoo-sun appeared as a guest alongside her husband, lawyer Lee Sung-ho.
During the show, Yoon Yoo-sun reminisced about her childhood acting days, recalling her role as a ghost who loses her legs in the series 'Legend of the Blue Sea.' Host Joo Woo-jae humorously commented, "It's sad for Lee Kwang-ki, who just lay there and lost his legs," causing laughter.
Meanwhile, her husband Lee Sung-ho expressed his affection by saying, "I remember her delicate image in the drama 'Toji.'"
The conversation naturally shifted to romantic and bed scenes for actresses. Yoon Yoo-sun revealed, "I've never filmed a bed scene, either before or after marriage," while Lee Sung-ho, with his judge-like demeanor, humorously remarked, "Even if there's romance, just say 'thank you' and do it without hesitation."
When Hong Jin-kyung suggested, "But if a bed scene offer comes, you might end up crying," Yoon Yoo-sun responded about romantic and explicit scenes, "I feel bad because I'm sure they won't come my way." She recalled, "In the past, my father received a script with a nude scene and vehemently opposed it, throwing it away."
Yoon Yoo-sun continued, "Back then, we didn't have cell phones, so my father called the house phone. The director called our home, and my father said, 'Would you let your daughter do it?'"
She added, "In the end, another actress who took the role won an award," expressing her lingering regret over the missed opportunity.
