Tae Jin-ah holds back tears as he watches Kim Yong-bin.
On October 6th at 10 PM, TV CHOSUN's 'Golden Friday' will air a special episode titled 'Eternal Companions'. This episode will feature the legendary duo, Tae Jin-ah and the late Song Dae-kwan, whose iconic songs will be performed by 10 junior singers.
The special connection between Jin (眞) Kim Yong-bin and Tae Jin-ah will be revealed, capturing the audience's attention. Kim Yong-bin shares, "As a child, I wanted to become a singer and went to Tae Jin-ah to practice singing," reminiscing about their shared memories. Tae Jin-ah recalls, "I've watched Yong-bin since he was six years old."
He further reveals that he cried at home when Kim Yong-bin was crowned Jin (眞) on 'Mr. Trot 3', surprising even his son, Eru, who is currently taking a break due to a DUI incident.
Kim Yong-bin, stepping up as the first performer in the death match, chooses Tae Jin-ah's 'Your Tears', a song he has practiced countless times since childhood, delivering a deeply emotional performance. Watching this, Tae Jin-ah expresses, "Tears welled up again today," overwhelmed by the remarkable growth of his junior now sharing the same stage.
Kim Yong-bin directly challenges Seon (善) Son Bin-ah as his opponent in the death match, hinting at a fateful showdown. With Son Bin-ah's real name being 'Son Yong-bin', the two not only share the same name but are also the same age, adding a unique narrative to their competition. The outcome of this battle between the successors of Tae Jin-ah and Song Dae-kwan's legacy draws significant interest.
