Red Velvet's Wendy Joins 'The Scout' as a Master: A New Chapter in Music Discovery

Red Velvet member and solo artist Wendy is set to join 'The Scout' as a master.

Wendy will appear on ENA's 'THE SCOUT: Reborn Star' (hereafter referred to as 'The Scout'), which premieres on May 8th at 8 PM.

'The Scout' is a growth-oriented music project where music industry experts discover 'hidden gems' who have yet to fully showcase their talents, offering them new directions and possibilities. The show aims to support the musical rebirth of 'muses' who have faced setbacks after debuting.

As part of the 'master corps' on 'The Scout,' Wendy will guide the growth of these talents. Having previously made her mark as a judge on Mnet's 'Build Up: Vocal Boy Group Survival' and KBS2's 'The Ddanddara,' her role on 'The Scout' is highly anticipated.

After joining Ascend last year, Wendy released her third mini-album 'Cerulean Verge,' which topped iTunes Top Album charts in 16 regions, including Brazil, Italy, and Indonesia, proving her global appeal.

Additionally, Wendy recently concluded her first world tour, '2025 WENDY 1st WORLD TOUR W:EALIVE,' visiting cities like Hong Kong, Tokyo, Chicago, and Washington D.C.

'The Scout' premieres on May 8th at 8 PM on ENA.
