Tak Jae-hoon, 57, revealed that he lost a significant amount of weight ahead of the cancellation of 'Dolsing Fourmen.'
On October 2, the press conference for SBS's new variety show 'But Seriously!' was broadcast online. The event was attended by Tak Jae-hoon, Lee Sang-min, Lee Soo-ji, and EXO's Kai.
'But Seriously!' (also known as 'Akeunjin') is a character talk show that breaks away from the traditional talk show format by incorporating a fictional universe and characters.
At the center of the 'Akeunjin' cast is Tak Jae-hoon. He has been a regular on 'Dolsing Fourmen' alongside Lee Sang-min for four years and has worked with Lee Soo-ji on 'My Turn.' Kai previously collaborated with Tak Jae-hoon five years ago on tvN's 'Udo Inn.' 'Dolsing Fourmen' was a long-running talk show on SBS, but it faced criticism last year after Kim Jun-ho and Lee Sang-min remarried, which was seen as undermining the show's premise. This led to public calls for their departure, and the show was ultimately canceled at the end of last year.
When asked about his chemistry with the cast members, Tak Jae-hoon said, "It's all about adjusting as we go. I've worked with Lee Sang-min for so long that I know him well. Soo-ji is witty, so we get along, and Kai has his own charm. We talked about everything while doing 'Udo Inn.' I feel like I'm overseeing everything."
Kai commented on Tak Jae-hoon, saying, "He looks even more stylish than before, but he seems to have gained a bit of weight." To this, Tak Jae-hoon responded, "That's true. I've gained some weight because I'm more relaxed now. During 'Dolsing Fourmen,' I lost a lot of weight due to stress, worrying that the show might get canceled."
'But Seriously!' premieres on October 2 at 10:10 PM.
