Set to premiere on February 1st at 9:40 PM, 'The Great Bake' is the first-ever K-Bakery survival show aiming to select the world's best pastry chef, riding the wave of the 'K-Bread' trend. This grand global baking competition brings together 72 bakers and pastry chefs from around the world, including renowned masters from Korea, world-class patissiers, and innovative bakers with unique recipes. On January 30th, 'The Great Bake' unveiled the full list of 72 confident contestants dressed in white chef uniforms, heightening interest in the first-ever K-Bakery survival show. The contestants, including world competition participants, popular bakery influencers, patissiers, overseas-trained chefs, and rising stars, are set to captivate baking enthusiasts with their unique nicknames and impressive skills.

Among the contestants, 'Croissant Master' Kim Ji-ho from the 'Bakery Pilgrimage Hotspot' and 'Parisian Chef' Jung Min, a sous chef at 'Le Biscuit Alain Ducasse Paris,' stand out. 'Super DNA' Seo Yong-seok, brother of France's top patissier Seo Yong-sang, and 'Jeju Blue Ribbon Holder' Kim Si-yeop, who achieved nine Blue Ribbons in Jeju, also showcase their prowess. The diverse lineup of world competition participants, patissiers, overseas-trained chefs, and rising stars promises an exciting showcase of talent.

Notable contestants include Seoul National University graduate Lee Hye-seong, who recently ended a three-year public relationship with Jeon Hyun-moo, 'Garlic Goddess of Gwangjang Market' Kim Eun-hee, 'Heart Maker' Na Su-ji, 'Fine Dining Baker' Yoon Hwa-young, 'Mill Baker' Jung Nam-mi, and 'Crazy Patissier' Hwang Ji-oh.
