Chef Yeo Kyung-rae, known from 'Black and White Chef' Season 1, transforms into a 'dad joke machine' during a food trip to Yeosu with Jeon Hyun-moo and KwakTube.
On the upcoming episode 16 of 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 3', airing on the 30th at 9:10 PM, Jeon Hyun-moo and KwakTube (Kwak Jun-bin) revisit Yeosu, the 'city of gastronomy and romance', to hunt for hidden local culinary gems.
Jeon Hyun-moo, living up to his reputation as a 'foodie brother', declares, “Yeosu is one of the cities you visit for food,” and announces a special on genuine local eateries untouched by tourists. KwakTube humorously complains, “The 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan' seems to be getting more intense,” bringing laughter. Jeon Hyun-moo then introduces an 'amazing food friend', Chef Yeo Kyung-rae, a '51-year veteran in Chinese cuisine', 'master of masters', and 'Vice President of the World Chinese Culinary Federation'. Yeo Kyung-rae makes a grand entrance with a surprise 'dad joke' saying, “Isn't this Yeosu? I'm 'Yeo' and from 'Su'won, so I feel connected.”
As everyone bursts into laughter, Yeo Kyung-rae smoothly changes the topic, asking, “So, what are we eating today?” Jeon Hyun-moo hints, “We're starting with an old Chinese restaurant.” Yeo Kyung-rae responds with a lukewarm, “That's my specialty. Not bad,” amusing the 'foodie brother'. Even during transit, Yeo Kyung-rae continues with his dad jokes, saying, “I don't usually visit old restaurants. Today is special, so I should write in my diary.” When Jeon Hyun-moo praises him as a 'master of Chinese cuisine', Yeo Kyung-rae humorously retorts, “I'm not a master, just a 'Jjajang~'.”
Meanwhile, in a previously released preview, a shop owner mentions to Jeon Hyun-moo, “Haven't you been through a lot because of that issue?” referring to the recent 'erectile dysfunction prescription record leak' controversy. The menu featured items like 'Yagwanmun' and 'Beoltteokju', known for male health benefits. Jeon Hyun-moo humorously responds, “They have Yagwanmun and Beoltteokju here. I'll have some Beoltteokju,” causing laughter. Yeo Kyung-rae adds, “I heard rumors too,” leaving Jeon Hyun-moo flustered.
