To strengthen team spirit, Kim Min-kyung took her 'ShinBOOM' teammates to a Thai restaurant. She showed thoughtful consideration by picking out cilantro for coach Shin Jin-sik, who doesn't eat it, and serving food, adding warmth to the gathering.

On the day of the final match, Kim Min-kyung arrived in Jeongseon, Gangwon Province, and took an early morning cable car ride. During the ascent, she attentively listened to the concerns of opposing team member Ahn Sung-hoon.

In the best-of-five final match, Kim Min-kyung took on the role of rear defense, anchoring 'ShinBOOM's' defense. The team took an early lead in the first set with perfect teamwork, and Kim Min-kyung's focused defense and reception maintained the momentum. Even when the lead was lost, she encouraged her teammates, saying, "Let's tie it up again," keeping the team grounded.
