According to the integrated computer network for movie tickets on the 7th, 'Predator' secured the number one position in the domestic box office on its release day, the 5th, and maintained its lead the following day.
Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, 'Predator: Death Ground' is a sequel to the series that began with the 1987 film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. This installment offers a fresh perspective by telling the story from the viewpoint of the Predator, traditionally portrayed as the antagonist.
The second spot in the box office was claimed by the comedy film 'First Ride,' starring Kang Ha-neul, Kim Young-kwang, Cha Eun-woo, Kang Young-seok, and Han Sun-hwa, with over 17,000 viewers and a revenue share of 16.0%.
'First Ride' is a comedy about a group of lifelong friends embarking on their first overseas trip. The film features Tae-jung (Kang Ha-neul), the determined one; Do-jin (Kim Young-kwang), the cheerful one; Yeon-min (Cha Eun-woo), the handsome one; Geum-bok (Kang Young-seok), the sleepy one; and Ok-shim (Han Sun-hwa), the lovable one.
In third place is the animated film 'Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc,' which attracted 14,757 viewers, bringing its total audience to 2,864,278. 'Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc' is based on the popular episode from Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga 'Chainsaw Man,' which has surpassed 30 million copies in circulation worldwide.
