Professor Na Min-ae from Seoul National University shared her thoughts on study methods.

On the October 23rd episode of KBS 2TV's variety show 'Problematic Men in the Rooftop Room' (hereafter 'Problematic Men'), Na Min-ae, the daughter of poet Na Tae-joo and a professor teaching writing at Seoul National University, made an appearance.

During the broadcast, Professor Na, who has been teaching at Seoul National University for 19 years, revealed characteristics of the students there. She stated, "Seoul National University students are not afraid to tackle difficult books," highlighting their strong desire to learn.

When asked if intelligence is hereditary, Professor Na shared, "My father ranked 17th nationwide, and I was 50th. We thought our children would average around 30th nationwide, but that wasn't the case. They don't have the 'study brain,' and it worries me," she confessed.

Regarding her unique study method, Professor Na explained, "There comes a moment when you need to be praised for your studies. My mother suffered from severe depression and was always lethargic. The only time she smiled was when I ranked first," emphasizing the need for a motivating factor to study.

She also shared, "I felt guilty asking for new workbooks, so I borrowed my friends' and copied the answers before returning them. Thanks to my father, poet Na Tae-joo, our house was always filled with books. He was always reading, and we had to clear books off the table to eat," attributing her study success to being surrounded by books.
