Seo Hyun-jin Discusses Her Unique Diction and Vocal Style on YouTube Talk Show
On the YouTube channel 'Bba-donuts' run by Moon Sang-hoon, a video titled 'Lovely vs. Full! A Talk Show with Unprecedented Diction' was uploaded.
In the video, Moon Sang-hoon kicked off the conversation by mentioning Seo Hyun-jin's trademark 'clear pronunciation' and 'solid vocalization.' Seo acknowledged, "People often tell me that my pronunciation is very clear," but she also revealed, "Sometimes, it can be challenging when parts that don't need to be heard are too clear during acting."
Moon Sang-hoon didn't miss the opportunity to humorously mimic Seo's diction from the drama 'Dr. Romantic,' exaggerating it and joking, "Your pronunciation is so good, it's embarrassing," which brought laughter to the set. Seo momentarily covered her face in embarrassment but quickly responded with a cool laugh, maintaining a cheerful atmosphere.
Additionally, Moon Sang-hoon, whose MBTI is INFP, found common ground with Seo, who shares the same type. He humorously referenced his past appearance on 'You Quiz,' where he read an emotional letter, saying, "The clip alone surpassed a million views, and that week, global handkerchief sales rose by 30%," eliciting laughter from Seo.
Furthermore, a segment was dedicated to Seo reading fans' 'over-the-top comments.' The production team explained that they had received reports that Seo struggles with excessive fan comments. When Seo was taken aback by the provocative phrase "Unnie, you're really not..." Moon encouraged her to click 'see more.' The full sentence was a classic twist comment: "Unnie, you're really not... in my heart."
Another comment starting with "Unnie, you're completely not..." turned out to be a 'tsundere support message,' saying, "It's not okay to make our unnie sad or hurt her, so I hope she stays happy for a long time." Seo, blushing, admitted, "I don't know how to react to these," while Moon joked, "This is almost at the level of fan comment fatigue," suggesting she should appear on fan service shows more often. Despite her embarrassment, Seo sincerely read each comment, expressing heartfelt gratitude to her long-time fans.
