Netflix's 'Tarot' Climbs to No. 1 in Movies with a Thrilling Comeback

The horror mystery anthology 'Tarot' has made a remarkable comeback on Netflix, securing the top spot in the movie category for four consecutive days. This series also marks the acting debut of Dex.

The mystery series 'Tarot' explores the twisted fates and mysteries of individuals trapped by the curse of a tarot card due to a single choice. Comprising seven episodes, the anthology series has been reimagined into a theatrical version featuring three episodes: Jo Yeo-jeong's 'Santa's Visit(산타의 방문),' Dex (Kim Jin-young)'s 'Please Throw Away(버려 주세요),' and Ko Kyu-phil's 'Going Home(고잉홈).'

'Tarot' was initially released exclusively in CGV theaters last year. Prior to its release, it was pre-sold to 27 countries and was the first and only Korean series invited to the short competition section of the Cannes International Series Festival in France.

Praised for its unique blend of everyday relatable themes, imaginative storytelling, and bold characters, 'Tarot' has been described as a dense, realistic mystery horror. Since its release on Netflix, it has captivated viewers, keeping them on the edge of their seats.

Additionally, special appearances by Lee Moon-sik, Lee Joo-bin, and Jo Hyun-jae have enhanced the series' quality. Park Hae-rin, known from 'Single's Inferno 4,' also makes an appearance, adding to the story's intrigue.
