On the morning of the 25th, a production briefing for the film 'The First Ride' was held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by director Nam Dae-jung, and actors Kang Ha-neul, Kim Young-kwang, Kang Young-suk, and Han Seon-hwa. Cha Eun-woo, who is currently serving in the military, was unable to attend.
Kang Young-suk was cast in the role of Geum-bok after overcoming a competitive audition with 800 other candidates. He attributed his success to the shape of his head, recalling, "I couldn't show it directly to the director during the audition, but the assistant director asked if there were any dents."
Director Nam Dae-jung expressed his satisfaction, saying, "I asked the assistant director to check if the head shape was bumpy, pointed, or flat during the audition. There wasn't even a single pimple."
Kang Young-suk humorously added, "Since I've never seen my bald head, I asked my mom how it looked. She said it was fine," expressing his contentment.
Meanwhile, 'The First Ride' is a comedy film about a group of lifelong friends embarking on their first overseas trip.
