Stray Kids member Felix recently shared the story behind his Korean name on the JTBC variety show 'Chef & My Fridge since 2014'.
On the episode aired on the 21st, NCT's Mark and Chenle, along with Stray Kids' Lee Know and Felix, appeared as guests. The show also featured announcer Kim Sung-joo, broadcaster Ahn Jung-hwan, chefs Choi Hyun-seok, cartoonist Kim Poong, chef Son Jong-won, singer Sam Kim, chef Yoon Nam-no, and chef Kwon Sung-joon.
During the show, chef Son Jong-won expressed his admiration for Felix, saying, "Sitting next to him feels like my ears are melting." He explained that Felix is nicknamed 'That Part Guy' due to his distinctive deep voice. Lee Know added, "Felix often takes on the killing parts. He delivers them with his cave-like voice, which is why he's called 'That Part Guy'." Son Jong-won requested Felix to deliver an opening line in English, which Felix did in his signature deep voice, captivating the studio.
Kim Sung-joo asked Lee Know if he was surprised by Felix's deep voice when they first met. Lee Know replied, "He didn't sound like that when he talked to me." Felix explained, "I'm more lively when I'm with the members," and demonstrated his usual bright voice, surprising Kim Sung-joo and Ahn Jung-hwan.
When Kim Sung-joo inquired about his siblings' names, Felix introduced them as "My older sister is Lee Ji-soo, and my younger sister is Lee Ji-min." The studio reacted with surprise, questioning why only Felix had the 'Bok' syllable in his name. Felix explained, "Only the males in the family use the 'Bok' syllable." The chefs expressed admiration, saying, "It seems like a family with a strong tradition."
