Lee Mi-joo, former member of the K-pop group Lovelyz, recently shared updates about her blind dating experiences.
On October 12, Lee Mi-joo's YouTube channel 'Just Lee Mi-joo' released a video titled 'Mi-joo, We're Having a Housewarming at Your Place, Are You Coming? (feat. Mi-joo's New House)'.
In the video, Lee Mi-joo's team staff organized a housewarming party at her new home, just a week after she moved in, much to her surprise. Unable to hide her displeasure, Mi-joo commented, "This is a selfish shoot," emphasizing that it was her first housewarming and that no one had visited her new place yet.
The filming was done with partitions as her belongings were not fully unpacked. Mi-joo humorously shared, "I thought I didn't have much stuff when moving, but it filled a 1-ton truck. Even the movers were overwhelmed."
Mi-joo confessed she had never received a housewarming gift, recalling, "When I visited Heize's house, I bought her an iPad because she works on projects. Another friend brought robot friends."
Surprised by the scale of the gifts, a staff member invited her to their home, to which Mi-joo replied, "You invited other friends for drinks without me. You only call me when the camera is on," expressing her disappointment.
Mi-joo revealed, "I keep getting blind date offers. I'm considering going," and curiously asked, "What is it like to go on a blind date?" The staff humorously suggested, "Let's ask if we can film it. Wear earphones, and if you like the person, take them off. If not, just follow our instructions," turning it into a potential content idea.
Having lived in a dorm during her Lovelyz days, Mi-joo candidly stated, "I prefer living alone. It's uncomfortable having someone in my space. I wish they'd leave soon," drawing attention with her straightforwardness.
Meanwhile, on KBS Joy's '20th Century Hit Song', Mi-joo humorously rejected Kim Hee-chul's earnest serenade of "Let's date," saying, "I really don't like it." Despite rumors linking her with Kim Hee-chul, Mi-joo maintained, "I need to be more careful," setting clear boundaries.
