Im Ji-yeon "I want to have romance with Chu Youngwoo"

Actress Im Ji-yeon shared her thoughts on her on-screen romance with Choo Young-woo.

On the 28th, a press conference for JTBC's new weekend drama 'Lady Ok's Tale' was held at the Ramada Hotel in Sindorim, Guro-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by actors Im Ji-yeon, Choo Young-woo, Kim Jae-won, Yeonwoo, and director Jin Hyuk.

'Lady Ok's Tale' is a gripping survival drama about Ok Tae-young, a woman whose name, status, and husband are all fake, and Cheon Seung-hwi, an entertainer who risks his life to protect her.

Choo Young-woo takes on the role of Cheon Seung-hwi, who leaves behind his past as the eldest son of the Moon family to become a storyteller in the heavenly realm. On his dual role challenge, Choo stated, "I was captivated by the script and wanted to take on the significant challenge of playing two roles."

Regarding his chemistry with Im Ji-yeon, Choo remarked, "Ji-yeon made me feel very comfortable on set. Her acting was so good that she gave me everything I needed to create my character. Even in moments without dialogue, I could see what she was thinking through her eyes, which made our chemistry great."

Im Ji-yeon added, "We prepared a lot for our romantic scenes beforehand. Since the set was so busy, I wanted to be ready before filming. Young-woo is an intuitive actor. Watching him act and analyze his character taught me a lot, even though he's my junior. We relied on each other during filming."

'Lady Ok's Tale' is set to premiere on November 30th at 10:30 PM.
