A woman in her 20s who threatened actor Lee Sun-kyun out of tens of millions of won was caught by the police after running away without being interrogated before arrest.
On the 27th, the Incheon Police Agency Metropolitan Investigation Unit arrested A (28, female) on charges of blackmail and other charges. Mr. A suddenly failed to appear at the warrant substantive examination held at the Incheon District Court the afternoon before due to a request for a prior arrest warrant without giving any particular reason.
The police began to check Mr. A's whereabouts when he did not appear in court. It was discovered that the arrest was made by executing a warrant issued along with a request for a prior arrest warrant. The location where Mr. A was arrested is unknown.
Mr. A was detained in the Incheon Nonhyeon Police Station detention center. The substantive examination of the warrant is scheduled to be held at the Incheon District Court on the 28th.
The substantive review of his warrant is scheduled to be held at 2:30 pm on the 28th by Lee Gyu-hoon, chief judge in charge of warrants at the Incheon District Court.
Person A is accused of extorting 50 million won by threatening actor Lee, who was suspected of using drugs.
In relation to the drug charges, Lee Seon-gyun filed a lawsuit against Mr. A for extortion, saying that he was extorted 50 million won by Mr. A and 300 million won by Mr. B, a woman in her 20s who is the manager of an entertainment establishment, through threats.
